The differential thermostat is a device controlling circulation pump which takes care of transferring the heat between a heat source (solar collector) and a boiler. The device has LED display showing the temperatures of both the heat source and heat recipient.
The controlling algorithm gives the user one parameter - the difference in temperatures between the heat source and the boiler according to which the circulation pump should be turned on or off. Besides this setting the devices has emergency regimes to protect system overheat (above 100ºC) and fluid freezing (below 2ºC).
