The UPS device is designed to guarantee the continuous work of circulation pumps which are part of water heating installations. The usage of this device removes the threat of overheating in case of unexpected power shortage and thereby provides smooth and trouble free operation of the whole heating system. The UPS is controlled by a micro-controller thus providing greater and better control over the processes.
The main features of the UPS are:
- automatic switching to battery power
- precise automatic charging of the battery when mains power is present
- restorable overload protection in inverter mode
- battery status indicator
- sound signaling for state changes
- optional thermal sensor can be plugged in so the UPS can control the pump's work cycle, depending on the temperature reached
According to the power needs of the pump that will be powered by the UPS 3 basic models are available for sale. The model 70A is the only one with internal battery serving small loads as the models 70 and 150 are powered by external lead-acid battery with capacity up to 75Ah.
